The homeowner wanted to transform an open study into a more private, elegant space with custom arched French doors. The existing opening had been framed as a passageway rather than a doorway, requiring modifications to accommodate doors that were both wider than the surrounding walls and shorter than the original opening. In addition, the homeowner wanted the doors stripped to bare wood, re-stained, and protected with a clear finish. The intricate wood profiles required meticulous preparation and finishing to achieve a consistent, high-quality result.
